PLOT SUMMARY
Original Run: March 2, 1984 to March 1, 1985

In the Earth college, the young Dai Sawamura deciphered the figures on the Nazca Plain. Impressed by his ability, the Galactic Union Police from Planet Bird recruited this young archaeologist and trained him to be Earth's third Space Sheriff in recent years. Named after Shaider, the ancient warrior who destroyed and defeated the Fuuma 12,000 years ago, he teamed with Annie (whose home planet and family got destroyed by Fuuma) to stop Fuuma's invasion of Earth. Annie herself was personally referred by Mimi (Gavan's partner, daughter of Commander Com). The expected crossover was never actually done until the Special Episode (regarded as Episode-49) was aired.
